Cold saponified natural artisanal soap, what does it “eat in winter”?

Unlike hot methods of soap making that involve high temperatures, the cold process method preserves the beneficial properties of the oils . Cold process soaps (CPS) are composed of vegetable oils or fats and sodium hydroxide (NaOH). Handled and mixed with care and love, these simple ingredients will form a soap after a 6-week cure.

Find here all the arguments that will convince you to use natural soaps and treatments.

Our soaps are made with high-quality ingredients that are primarily organic, eco-friendly, and fair trade whenever possible. We favor natural colors from ingredients like clays, and avoid soaps with bright colors and strong scents. For aromas, we sparingly use essential oils rather than synthetic fragrances. We limit the use of essential oils for several simple reasons: their cost (why pour a precious oil down the drain?) and the nature of the soaps themselves. The older a soap is, the more effective it becomes, but essential oils evaporate over time. Additionally, too much oil can saturate the soap and alter its other essential properties like softness, lather, and hydration.

Sometimes we use milks in our soap compositions. Usually, they replace water in whole or in part. Given their delicate nature, milks are precious and capricious. However, they leave an incomparable sensation on the skin and a particular smell. We also produce a coffee-based soap and a soap based on aloe vera juice. We love them all!

Main ingredients used in our natural and artisanal soaps

Natural Colloidal Oatmeal Soaps

Colloidal oatmeal, in fine powder or butter, soothes and moisturizes irritated or sensitive skin , relieves itching, redness, and rashes, and is effective against eczema, psoriasis, and dermatitis. It also protects the skin from free radicals, helping to prevent premature aging. Our very gentle Abella soap is made with oat butter, colloidal oatmeal, and honey. Perfect ingredients for the whole family!

Natural clay soaps

We use it in all its variations: green, white, ghassoul, purple pink, etc. Soothing, exfoliating and purifying , clays are materials that we love! In addition to giving a beautiful earthy and natural color to products, clays give a healthy glow with their effects on blood circulation. A guaranteed boost of youth! Several of our soaps contain clay, such as Beth (pink and white clay), Kösem (pink clay) and Grace (Brazilian clay).
