USE
Start by cleansing your skin. Then, apply your oil or moisturizer to make it easier for the Gua Sha to glide over your face.
Place the Gua Sha at a 45-degree angle against your skin and use gentle, flowing strokes. Always start at the center of your face and work outward. See diagram above.
For the eye area, use the rounded edge and make a gentle movement from the inside to the outside.
On the earlobe, you can make circular movements with the Gua Sha.
Feel free to repeat each movement 3 to 5 times.
It is recommended to apply light pressure, especially on the delicate skin around the eyes.
If you notice excessive redness, soften your movements. Gua Sha should not be used directly on skin inflammations such as acne.
OIL FOR GUA SHA
Oil is crucial to using Gua Sha. It reduces friction, allowing the tool to glide easily, and nourishes the skin, amplifying the benefits of the massage. Choose an oil that is appropriate for your skin type and needs, preferably rich in essential fatty acids and antioxidants for their soothing properties. Apply the oil before each session to facilitate glide, improve blood circulation, and promote healthier skin.
CONSERVATION
Clean your Gua Sha after each use to maintain its effectiveness and avoid infection.
